When your household water is treated with a MAXX whole house system, it goes through a Five stages of filtration and conditioning:

3 stages of filtration and 2 stages of conditioning

Stage I A 20 inch poly propylene spun 5 micron filter to remove particles and debris before they ever enter the system and your home.

Stage II A combination of pharmaceutical grade coconut shell and acid washed bituminous carbon is specifically formulated for taste and odor improvement.

Stage III Consists of an internal sediment filter made of fine silica quartz filtration media.

Stage IV KDF 55 Process Medium is a high-purity copper-zinc alloy. When used in our water treatment unit, it undergoes a chemical process known as redox. Redox is short for oxidation-reduction, which is a chemical reaction where electrons are transferred between molecules. In some cases, such as free chlorine, this transfer results in the formation of benign substances, such as chloride in this case, which then passes through the filter. In a similar way, copper, lead, mercury, and other heavy metals react to plate out onto the medium’s surface effectively being removed from the water supply. KDF 55 Process Medium is so effective that it removes up to 98% of inorganic water-soluble heavy metals that are a concern to many public health officials and many consumers. In addition, KDF 55 Process Medium controls microorganisms and reduces lime scale in problem areas like showers and tubs. KDF 55 Process Medium even changes waterborne calcium molecules that inhibit scale buildup and improves the taste of some of your favorite beverages.

Stage V Our Patented descaling unit designed to prevent the accumulation of the white calcium and magnesium scaling on the inside of your building plumbing, your appliances and fixtures.

Automatic Back flush Control
The Fleck Electro mechanical automatic control valve, automatically back flushes and repositions all filtration media bi-monthly, thereby enhancing the absorptive capacity and extending the active life of the filtration media for 10-15 years

What is the Result?
It's water that feels better, tastes better and improves every appliance that uses water.
